High-level diplomacy presents itself as the movement of states and leaders. A PLITO reading restores what that surface conceals: the people displaced, the labour of war and negotiation, the ideas doing the justifying, the techne setting the terms, and the objects actually being fought over.

Why analyses are withheld until ready.
A PLITO breakdown of an active conflict is a serious act of interpretation about events in which people are dying. Each analysis here is researched, drafted, and reviewed before publication rather than generated to fill the map. A marker without an analysis is a commitment, not an omission.
Each released analysis will follow the same structure: a plain description of the conflict, then the five lenses, then the interactions between them, then the meta-question — what this framing, made from this position, leaves out.
